Where will the Workshop take place?

The workshop will take place at the Dardagna Waterfalls located in the Emilian Apennines near Madonna dell'Acero.

The Dardagna stream forms seven waterfalls along its course from Corno alle Scale to Madonna dell'Acero, and then continues its path downstream. Of all the most famous and majestic is the last, that is the one found in Madonna dell'Acero. The waterfall, easily accessible on foot, shows all the power of the water, which

falls for several meters. Let yourself be enchanted by this fairytale place where you can get in full contact with nature.

From the Cavone basins, the Dardagna stream is born, two distinct branches form it, the main one, to the east, descends from Corno alle Scale (1945 m asl) and the secondary one, to the west, from Monte Spigolino (1827 m asl), narrow by the Cengio Sermidiano, it then falls with a series of suggestive jumps in a valley with a particularly harsh morphology along the entire course of the stream.

We will stay at the comfortable Hotel dell'Acero, located near the sanctuary of Madonna dell'Acero.

The hotel can be reached by car and has a convenient parking.

Overnight stay, dinner and breakfast to be paid for individually at the hotel.

During this photographic course, you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy a dinner at the restaurant of the Hotel dell'Acero, which boasts an excellent menu, with traditional local dishes.

At the Hotel dell'Acero, breakfast in the morning is rich and abundant.

** To ensure everyone has the best possible experience, I kindly ask future attendees to  notify the management of the Hotel Venezia in advance of any food allergies and / or intolerances.

Who is the Workshop for?

The workshop is aimed at all photographers, beginners and experts, who want to deepen their knowledge in landscape photography and discover new cutting-edge techniques from the shooting and post-production phase.

The workshop will be divided into two parts, the first concerning the shooting phases (Sunset, Sunrise, day time in the woods), and the second consisting of the Post-Production phase on the PC.

In this course I will show you the best techniques that will give you the opportunity to improve your photographic skills in the field and in post-production.

Important note: my shooting method is based on a precise organization and planning, which starts from the study of the subject, of the light, of the composition, and reaches the post-production; very often it happens to think of a shot not only as a function of the classic variables on the field, but also as a function of what will have to be done on the PC.
